Spastic Chess is chess without rules that slow down the gameplay and with hit points and lots of blood!


Spastic Chess is a two-player game so you probably need a friend to play with you.

If you are interested in programming with Flash MX, you may want to download the source files of Spastic Chess (released under Gnu General Public License). The source features many nice design patterns, custom classes, accessor definitions, inheritances and other object-oriented actionscript stuff.

Please note that the source code for the real-time game server is not included in the package. However the Spastic Chess game engine, programmed with C#, used in the online implementation is included. It requires either .NET Framework or Mono.
